The Drawing Teacher brochure
1930

"A little folder of teaching projects for the art teacher"
Binney and Smith Inc., makers of Crayola crayons and other art and educational products, began publishing The Drawing Teacher in 1926. The publication was designed for art teachers and promoted the value of art in schools. It contained editorials, comments from teachers, and suggested art activities. "Each month," the editor promised, "we shall offer to the drawing teachers a complete lesson plan of an art project that has proved successful. These projects will place in the hands of each art teacher the method of presenting art problems."
